The speed of a dedicated server
At most hosting services, thousands of customers are placed on a single server. This results in overload during peak hours or limitations on performance per customer. The move to a dedicated server solves this, but is relatively expensive and requires a lot of extra time. With our Pro packages, we offer a middle ground. This gives you the speed of a dedicated server, without the disadvantages.
Suitable for multiple domains

Extensive offsite backup archive
In our backup archive we currently keep 6 monthly and 30 daily backups of each Pro package. This gives us flexibility in case of problems. Think of website hacks or other technical malfunctions. There are costs associated with using the backup archive. Of course, you can also make (automatic) backups yourself. This is an extra safety net.

Frequently Asked Questions
As soon as your payment is received, we immediately start automatic delivery. If you pay online, for example via iDeal or Paypal, this happens within a minute! If you pay via bank transfer, this can take a number of working days, depending on your bank.
Domain registration at Hostdeko is real-time and automated. If you provide a valid transfer code, the domain will be moved immediately. Due to the way the internet works (DNS cache), the result will be noticeable 4 to a maximum of 24 hours later.
We therefore always recommend not filling in the real transfer code during a move yet. This way you can first move and test the website at your leisure.
Moving your website to Hostdeko is no problem! If you would like help with the move, you can use our migration service. If you are a new customer, we will help you free of charge for 30 minutes (sufficient for 90% of websites).
To move a domain you need a transfer code; the EPP code. You request this EPP code from your current hosting company before your contract expires. During your order, you indicate that you already own a domain and want to move it to Hostdeko. If the specified domain indeed exists, the transfer code will be requested.
To prevent downtime, it is useful to provide the correct transfer code later. That way you can transfer your website in the meantime. Of course, you must provide the correct code to support later!
It is certainly possible to use direct debit. In that case, the first payment must always be made via iDeal. We use this to create the necessary mandate.
When you add multiple domains on the same hosting plan you can choose which domain you want to manage when logged in the hosting backend. For example, you can view statistics per domain, install an SSL security certificate, or create email accounts for a specific domain.
A Fair Use Policy means that you will not be immediately disconnected in case of excessive use, nor will you receive invoices. Instead, in the event of structural excess, we will look for a solution in consultation.
What is fair? Hostdeko likes to be transparent. As a standard, we maintain a guideline for pro packages of 10 times the purchased storage space. This is twice as much as with our Fast SSD hosting packages. With 15 GB SSD storage space, this is 150GB of data traffic.
You normally don’t have to worry about your data usage. If you do, you can always view your current data usage on your MyHostdeko account. We update this daily.
Hostdeko likes to be honest and transparent: For Magento webshops, we recommend special Magento Hosting.
Why? The Magento platform is inefficient and therefore requires significantly more computing power and RAM memory. This means that we either have to limit the CPU and RAM resources of your store, or that you inconvenience other customers. Magento therefore runs best on its own VPS (virtual private server).
All prices on the website are exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise. Business customers can reclaim the VAT from the tax authorities themselves.
