The money-back guarantee applies to all web hosting packages.

Additional work billed by the hour or from a service card is not covered by the money-back guarantee, unless we explicitly agree otherwise. Some activities are offered on a no cure, no pay basis, but this is separate from this money-back promotion.

The cost of your domain name is not covered by this arrangement. The majority of this amount goes to the registry that issues the domains, such as SIDN for .nl domains.

The amount you pay for your domain not only allows you to use it for a year; it also ensures that the domain remains yours, even if you are not satisfied with Hostdeko. In that case, you can point the domain to another provider from your DirectAdmin account.

You can also request an auth code (EPP code) from us to transfer your domain to another host.

You remain the owner of your domain until the end of the registration period, unless you renew or transfer it.

Domain registration at Hostdeko is real-time and automated. If you provide a valid transfer code, the domain will be transferred immediately. Because of how the internet works (DNS caching), the change will become visible after 4 to a maximum of 24 hours.

We therefore recommend not entering the actual transfer code immediately when moving a site. This way, you can first move and test the website at your convenience.

Yes, you can pay by SEPA direct debit. In that case, the first payment must always be made via iDEAL. This is used to create the required mandate.

A Fair Use Policy means that in case of excessive usage you are not immediately disconnected and do not automatically receive extra invoices. Instead, if there is structural overuse, we will contact you to look for a suitable solution.

Normally you really do not need to worry about our FUP. You can always check your current data usage in your MyHostdeko account; this is updated daily. Our FUP is very generous. As long as you do not run a file-sharing service or video streaming platform, you are unlikely to use too much data traffic.

Moving your website to Hostdeko is no problem. If you would like help with the migration, you can use our migration service. If you are a new customer, we will help you free of charge for 30 minutes (enough for about 90% of websites).

To transfer a domain you need a transfer code, the EPP code. You request this EPP code from your current hosting provider before your contract ends. During your order you indicate that you already own a domain and want to transfer it to Hostdeko. If the specified domain exists, you will then be asked for the transfer code.

To avoid downtime, it is best to provide the correct transfer code later. That way you can already move your website. Of course, you must still provide the correct code to support afterwards!

All prices on the website are excluding VAT, unless stated otherwise. Business customers can reclaim the VAT from the tax authorities themselves.
